FEMALES DO NOT HAVE “WONDER WOMAN” POWERS

FEMALES DO NOT HAVE “WONDER WOMAN” POWERS
By Domenick J. Maglio Ph.D. Traditional Realist

The feminist movement headed by Gloria Steinem and Betty Freidan in the 1960s said they wanted to end the sexual objectifying of women as sex objects and assist them to be as powerful and independent as men. This was supposed to happen by changing the way girls were socialized. Now girls are more sexually aware than ever before. Slogans such as ‘Girl power,” “girls rock,” and “girls rule” were aimed at young girls to no longer be traditional normal girls. In Hollywood female super heroes, leading women movies and YouTube videos reinforce that females possess the same aggression, strength and physical power as men.

The creative myth that girls can attain the same physical attributes as men has been shattered. Genetics has a way of contradicting social engineering malarkey. The transgender “female” runners consistently win high school races against birth sex females. Their muscular stature and higher level of testosterone make the contest unfair. Many female star runners were rightfully resentful losing their right to place in state competitions by supposedly “transgender” females.

The same physical advantage of men in the military was obvious in qualifying for special unit eligibility. Women had a distinct disadvantage in carrying heavy equipment and some endurance. These physical demands were not made to disqualify female participants but were necessary to test physical abilities that accomplish the task.

In the fantasy world of movies, comic books and the Bachelorette tv show, men should be perfect gentlemen who accept critical rejection with no reaction such as being angry or upset. The reality is that females and males not only are socialized differently, but are physically, emotionally and psychologically wired differently. Since males and females have a different genetic disposition, their thoughts, emotions and behavior are influenced. What many young women think and believe is that the interaction between them and males should be that men should comply with their feminist rules and suppress their natural instincts.

In real life men are not following Hollywood scripts. Alcohol and drugs are un-inhibitors for both sexes. Men tend to become more sexually aggressive and females more seductive. This mixture with partying late into the night is a dangerous potion that should be considered especially by females before becoming an active participant.

However, many females are delusional about their ability to protect themselves. Many women in the past went to bars with a group of female friends. They protected each other from becoming too intoxicated or involved with certain male characters. These female outings had built in protections against players, perverts or outright sociopaths. Too many times we hear about a college student or single parent being in a bar until 2 or 3 in the morning with no friends. This is an incident waiting to happen. Although it is difficult to get an accurate assessment of reported sexual assaults, most reports are in agreement that they are rising.

Common sense would dictate anyone to know the person with whom they are going to spend intimate time. Hooking up with an unknown individual is a highly risky endeavor.  According to “The Daily Mail” newspaper, Utah University student Makenzie Lueck was dating multiple people through online dating sites, apps and was a self-proclaimed, “Sugar Baby. This type of behavior is tempting fate.

Too many young people think they are smarter than they are and are under the pathetic notion they are invincible.  As a parent it is our responsibility to teach rational caution. In the feminist perspective women should be able to wear any provocative attire they want to any occasion and say or do whatever meets their fancy. This might be acceptable in Hollywood movies but is ludicrous in real life.

Modern females do not possess Wonder Woman powers to combat and overwhelm any male or group of men sexually aroused or bent on rape. Not all males have enough self-control to walk away from satisfying their sexual urges. The reality is males can lose all decency and manners when they receive wrong signals after being sexually stimulated. They can cross the line into becoming a predator.

Modern females should realize there is a difference between feminist wishful thinking and the undeniable reality of the strength of genetics. Females should accept this undeniable reality and take precautions to minimize real risks to their safety. Females need to remember that casual sex, hooking-up, being intoxicated late in the night with an unknown male often without moral character can be a deadly experience.

Women should not believe all the feminist propaganda that is attempting to transform boys and men into unisex individuals. It is not going to happen : genetics are too powerful.
