SNOWDEN EXPOSES THE TECHNOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF A TOTALITAIRAN WORLD ORDER

SNOWDEN EXPOSES THE TECHNOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF A TOTALITAIRAN WORLD ORDER
By Domenick J.Maglio, PhD. Traditional Realist

Edward Snowden was a spy who worked for the National Security Administration or National Spy Organization. He is also a hero for putting is life on the line for our freedom. He revealed NSA’s ability to store enormous amount of personal information on every American citizen. This is a bombshell that threatens the freedom of the all of us. In essence the technology to spy on every human is here. It has a frightening potential for the enslavement of every person not only in the United States but the entire world.

The US may be the most advanced in data surveillance but it is not the only nation collecting private information on its people. We have learned that the developed nations also are using modern technology to spy on each other and their own citizens. Snowden quizzed President Putin on Russian television about his surveillance program. He said it was to put Putin on record to open up discussion on this issue.  The next day Snowden noted the Russian government was already requesting bulk data from social media companies. This indicated that Putin was not telling the truth, Russia is involved in sophisticated surveillance.

This technology would benefit international terrorist groups although it would be infinitely more dangerous in the hands of government leaders throughout the world. These leaders have the means of using their power to discreetly remove any opposing person before they make a move. This will allow them to upgrade the intensity of repression without provoking any backlash.

Snowden said in The Guardian, “ I blew the whistle on the NSA surveillance practices not because I believed the USA was uniquely at fault but because I believe that mass surveillance of innocents-the construction of state run surveillance time machines that can turn back the clock on the most intimate details of our lives- is a threat to all people everywhere no matter who runs them.

Turning the clock back on any person can be used to create a negative narrative to destroy anyone, even a saint.  A law-abiding citizen that has been labeled as “a person of interest” by the state would be defenseless. The officials would be able to go back in time selecting certain past utterances. This is horrifying.

Even a current politically incorrect speech or behavior has caused great pain and suffering.  These people who were exercising their freedom of speech and association were forced into re-education (sensitivity training) to be reinstated into their positions to stop their persecution.  Mozilla CEO, Chick-fil-A CEO, Donald Stirling-owner of LA Clippers, popular chef-Paula Deen and Duck Dynasty star, Phil Robertson, and many others suffered for their freedom to speak.  This skewering of famous people is less inhibiting and frightening than the ability of the NSA to use every person’s private thoughts against them. This would naturally cause censorship of our speech for fear of prosecution and persecution.

Edward Snowden was aware that Thomas Drake, an NSA whistleblower, had shared his concerns with congressional committees in 2005. He was investigated by the FBI and was charged with 10 felonies. His government career was destroyed and his life was changed forever.  Although knowing this information, Snowden said he repeatedly raised constitutional concerns about NSA surveillance. An NSA, April 8th, 2013 email to the NSA general council’s office verified that he brought up these concerns. At that time Snowden knew that more whistleblowers under the Obama administration suffered serious adverse consequences than during any other administration.

Snowden knew that private discussions are supposed to be protected by the First Amendment for good reason.  The verbalizing of ideas is an essential process that is needed to formulate one’s thinking and beliefs. Without the security of a person knowing his thoughts would remain private a person would stop talking and thinking.

The NAZIs, the Soviet Union and other primitive totalitarian states use fear of the state.  They only had primitive methods to put the fear of the state into the minds of the people by invading the homes or torturing others to frighten them into submission.  The belief in individual freedom was shattered by these unsophisticated practices leaving a spiritless people and an evil government.

The United States and others already have all of a person’s most intimate speech and thoughts stored. Anyone targeted by the state would have their information  exploited by bureaucratic experts. This would automatically render them guilty of whatever the state wanted to prove.

The allowing of the NSA or any other nation’s surveillance program to continue operations would inevitably be too tempting for a power grabbing leader not to employ. This level of surveillance is the most powerful Weapon of Freedom Destruction (WFD) the world has ever had to face.

The USA and other nations have to incorporate powerful checks and balances, real failsafe measures to halt this totalitarian ticking time bomb and prevent it from occurring in the future.

In the name of preventing terrorism there is no security/freedom exchange under the surveillance of all citizens.  When a national government can spy on all its citizens the government becomes the potential terrorist. These national leaders have the ultimate WFD to establish a global totalitarian hell.
