PASS THE CULTURE WAR- GO DIRECTLY TO MARXIST REVOLUTION

PASS THE CULTURE WAR- GO DIRECTLY TO MARXIST REVOLUTION

By Domenick J. Maglio PhD. Traditional Realist

“Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason toward my country.” Patrick Henry

The culture war became evident in the 1960s. Abbie Hoffman and his comrades did everything to mock the “straight” culture established by the hard working, productive but boring Americans. The burning and destruction of the patriotic symbols including the American flag was front and center. There were disruptions, bizarre demonstrations and violent incidents. The 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago with Mayor Daley, at the time the strongest mayor in the US, had to use his police force to gain control of the convention and the streets.

After 50 years of encouragement by communist leaning educators, media commentators and non-profit political activist groups we have arrived at the complete radical takeover of the Democrat party. The past party of the working people has completely transformed into demanding centralized planning from the top down for a “cradle to grave government utopian welfare state.”

This progressive movement was initiated at the end of the 1800s. President Teddy Roosevelt and President Woodrow Wilson in the early part of the 20th century focused their government power on social and political reform on our constitutional republic into more of a welfare state. This means giving with one hand and taking more back with the other. Many of the government changes corrected abuses by large monopolistic corporations.

Science, technology and academic experts replaced the will of the people. Traditional lifestyle, religion, and history were shunned. Politicians have employed more radical approaches to transform the USA. Many of the ideas like redistributing wealth, social engineering, diversity, Green New Deal, affirmative action, social justice, reparations, and eliminating requirements for citizenship, are not acceptable ideas under our constitution.

The constitution has also been under attack by the third branch of government judiciary. President Franklin D. Roosevelt attempted to “pack” the Supreme Court with judges to pass socialist programs into law. Recently there have been attempts to alter the progressive tilt by appointing conservative judges to the courts. Often after these judges interact with elite progressive Washington, D.C. society they become prone to make fewer literal interpretations of the constitution. Instead they gradually began to develop verbal contortions to justify government intervention into every aspect of citizens’ lives. These government interventions into citizen’s lives came with loss of freedom.  These rulings have limited free speech, religion, gun rights while enhancing abortion, homosexuality, transexuality, illegal immigrants, and criminal rights.

The citizens of the USA have been in the middle of a culture war for several decades. The conservatives say they want to preserve our individual rights, private property, patriarchal families, community, freedom of choice and national independence. The Democrat side wants bigger government and to reform everything that is unfair from their perspective. The “fairness” reforms regulations and laws are derived from the federal government bureaucracy. It builds an expanding organization without solving the identified problems.

They demand the power to not be offended and the ability to “cancel culture” (censor) anything that repulses them. The Marxists demand that the government protect their free speech while limiting that of those of opposing views. They no longer believe in the free exchange of ideas in the USA. Progressive democrats have crossed the line from a cultural revolution to a full-blown communist revolution.

This election is not about modifying or tweaking our free market, constitutional republic but replacing it with a type of utopian communist society. If traditional conservative Americans lose the election it will be the end of individual protected freedoms under the Bill of rights. The right to elect our representatives will no longer exist.

We should speak up to confront politicians and the fake media that are attempting to intimidate the citizens into compliance by fear. Supporting ridiculous and arbitrary Covid-19 governmental official edicts that did not get legislative approval are illegal and not binding but only affect law abiding citizens. We must express our opinions and resist illegal government mandates. This refusal to blindly follow the repressive edicts of the march to communism is the responsibility of patriotic citizens.

This is the right choice for patriotic Americans to stand up. A victory for conservative voters will give every freedom loving American hope and motivation for their representatives to “clean the swamp” and return the power to the people to pull the levers of power.

The 2020 Presidential Election will be a non-violent but revolution to pick tyranny or liberty. Should we lose America there is no freer nation anywhere else to flee to.

PARENTS HAVE BEEN AWAKENED BY THE CORONAVIRUS

PARENTS HAVE BEEN AWAKENED BY THE CORONAVIRUS

By Domenick Maglio Ph.D. Traditional Realist

Public schools were initiated by Horace Mann’s actions in the mid 1800s to educate all American children. The states took over the primary responsibility of educating the children. At first it was the 3 Rs in small community schools, then consolidated schools, then Parent Teacher Organizations were established to give parents input into their children’s schooling.

Being a school board member became more of a paid political position of big business bureaucracy and less of a voluntary community honor. The direct parental involvement with their children’s school has dwindled. Currently parental influence in their public school is so limited that it is difficult for the average parent to get an appointment with their child’s teacher. Public schools’ ever-increasing bureaucracy has developed methods to shut down most average parents’ access to their child’s school.

With minimal access to their child’s schooling there is less awareness about the everyday functioning of the school. Parents who are kept out of the school have little idea what is actually happening there. Each public-school district has a significant public relations department that publicizes positive results and camouflages any negative ones. The school board more often than not serves to justify unfortunate negative events and facts to show the public they are out for their interest. Most parents view the immense bureaucracy and impressive school buildings as ensuring that their child is getting a quality education.

The Covid-19 epidemic definitively has changed many parental viewpoints of public education. Children were unable to go to their schools for a whole quarter of the school year. Virtual classes from home were an eyeopener. Parents were front and center viewing their child’s lack of academic abilities, factual knowledge and concentration skills. This made parents aware of the woeful education their children are receiving as compared with their own.

The United States public school performance when compared with other nations has fallen drastically. Scores on the SAT and ACT, even after making the tests easier, are continuing to fall. When the USA is compared to other nations it continues to lose ground. The PISA (Programe Internationale Standard Assessment) places our nation in the unenviable position of being behind other advanced nations. Grade inflation, diluting of subject material and low standards camouflages an ineffectual education.

When their children cannot sign their name in cursive writing, exhibits limited vocabulary, cannot make change for a dollar, do not know basic math facts or operations, cannot write a coherent paragraph, have limited knowledge of civics, history and science, the child is “functionally illiterate.” Parents should demand answers when important subjects are being dropped from the curriculum. We all pay dearly for the education of the children and deserve a much higher level of proficiency.

It is time for the parents to stop excusing the school and their children for their limited knowledge. It is time for schools to stop blaming the parent for all their child’s behavioral and learning difficulties. It is time for the school and the parent to work together to make education work for each student.

Only when parents get together in large numbers will we begin to see more educational improvements and greater effective options. The time is here to insist on accountability from the largest county tax assessment taken for the supposedly exclusive purpose of educating all resident’s children. Throwing more millions of tax dollars at poor education has not been and never will be the answer.

Only by parents being engaged will we begin to see better outcomes. This necessitates that parents insist on their child doing excellent work, have access to their child’s teacher, administration and classroom and know what is happening in the child’s daily experience. All parents have the right to know how the school’s objectives: academics, social and behavioral, are going to be reached.

Parents need to immediately take back their schools. Citizens are investing a large portion of their tax dollars, more than any other nation, while receiving only a poor level of academic achievement, violence and anti-American, Marxist propaganda.

The ultimate parental power is for parents to control their tax money. It should be given directly to the parents in a voucher. The voucher could be applied to any locally approved school facility.  The local, state and federal government should provide standards of health, safety and achievement milestones.

There should be no government imposed “best practices.” All schools should have the right to choose their own curriculum, motivational and disciplinary methods of students. These individual schools need to honestly describe their philosophy and practices. It will be the consumer, parent, who rates their school by investing their money in the school of their choice.

It is time to take back our schools and save America’s future.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS EQUALITY FOR ALL

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS EQUALITY FOR ALL

By Domenick J. Maglio PhD. Traditional Realist

Everyone is unique. Even identical twins have differences that intimate friends and relatives can distinguish. People are different, not only physically, mentally, psychologically, creatively, emotionally but in every other variable you can measure.

Neither can their parents treat their children exactly the same way. They can try to achieve that goal but they will never reach it. Each child being different will act in particular ways displaying certain behavior patterns in specific situations. Since children are born at different times in the family, the financial situation of each child and conditions change during this time.  This makes it impossible to reach the goal of treating one’s own children the same since it cannot and does not happen.

Although a person is born into the upper class, it does not mean the individual will remain in this status. They may begin with superior resources. Many possess advanced education, broad cultural experiences, and material luxuries that they desire. Unexpectedly, a family could face misfortune like an accident or disease that undermines their maintaining high social status. They tumble down the economic social ladder losing their upper-class equity with previous associates. No one is granted a high status forever. As a matter of fact, today’s young adults are expected to live in a smaller home than the one they grew up living in. This will disturb many.

Even top Hollywood stars have to face the reality their days are numbered on top of the celebrity mountain. Top stars, high level executives, famous athletes, any and all rich and famous eventually fade from the scene. They are no longer equal to the upcoming replacements. Equality in certain areas of status comes and goes leaving many people stranded with their past memories that can never again be duplicated. This is real life.

Permanent equality has never and will never exist. The wiser a person becomes the more they comprehend that whatever socio-economic level a person is born into can change depending on many variables. Each social level has pros and cons. During any revolutionary unrest, high level political elites are in the unenviable position of possibly losing their power and lives. They become targets of anger instead of veneration. The wise founding fathers of the US sacrificed their elite status to fight for a freer nation.

The best we can accomplish in moving towards equality is a society establishing and maintaining the “equality of opportunity.” Merit is the key. Good business managers and employees are rewarded by moving up the economic ladder. This upward mobility often relieves the pressure of dealing with disgruntled employees and strengthens the business’s vitality from external competition. People who practice industriousness in their positions will be recognized and compensated and will often double their efforts to do even better. This built-in motivation in capitalist enterprises is a major factor why the system is effective and efficient.

The Marxist ideal of “equality for all people” is an unrealistic notion as well as unattainable because it lacks any motivation to strive for success. They only give lip service to this ridiculous idea. The history of communist take overs always winds up with a small elite, powerful ruling class and a higher number of lower-class people on the verge of starvation. Karl Marx’s rhetoric sounds too good to be true and it is.

Each American is in an enviable position to improve their own economic condition through their own physical, mental efforts and abilities. The free market economy does not promise the worker a certain outcome: equity. Instead it places the burden directly on the worker. It is the world’s most pragmatic and profitable system for the entrepreneur, employee and the nation. It provides incentives for the employee to advance in the enterprise, the employer to expand the business and for any inspired person to start a new one.

Equality for all has never been and never will be since we are all different people with different visions for ourselves and our loved ones. America gives its citizens the freedom to make their own choices, to develop their own destiny but does not guarantee equity for all. No government can accomplish this while maintaining high socio-economic standards.

Total equality for all would create a “Truman Story” culture where everyone would have the same houses, communities, possessions and appearances. The people would have to eat, think, behave, dream and relate with others in the same manner. It would be a boring, repressive, sterile existence with minimal creativity.

This equality would be a curse for all. Thank goodness the United States encourages freedom of choice for all to reach their personal dream.

THE LOSS OF FREEDOM OF SPEECH MEANS THE LOSS OF AMERICA

THE LOSS OF FREEDOM OF SPEECH MEANS THE LOSS OF AMERICA

By Domenick J. Maglio PhD. Traditional Realist

The loss of freedom of speech creates a vacuum for thought and debate. If the words to express an idea are removed from speech, the idea dies. Eventually people who constantly hear a repeated message will accept it as true. Thus, citizens become thoughtless and mindless falling in lockstep with the political spokespersons’ group-think pronouncements. This has happened throughout history. A host of other once proud countries have had their historical soul swiped by Marxism.

In the past the United States had been different as our founders knew and understood history presenting us with the legacy of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. The first “right” is the freedom of speech. It is currently under attack by Marxist progressives in our government schools, social media, democrat media, corporations, local, state and federal agencies and even in the halls of congress.

The attack is demolishing the foundation of national unity, being executed by a small number of elites who desire to erase any individual or group freedom of choice of the people. For decades our government schools have not taught our children the fundamentals of academics, history and critical thinking skills. These abilities are necessary to be a functional person in our constitutional republic. When these students enter higher education, their previous indoctrination from government schools has prepared them to accept more intensive Marxist reeducation including accepting censorship of opposing information. The results are few students who know the groundbreaking history of the US establishing a government ruled by the people with inalienable freedom of speech.

Censorship of information is frequently taking place in our social media. American citizens have witnessed a drastic decline in our ability to freely obtain information. Social media giants have taken down individual’s platforms when they disagree with the message. A group of expert medical doctors standing on the steps of congress express that Hydroxychloroquine was effective in treating the Coronavirus. This video went viral reaching 18 million viewers. The video and these doctor’s Twitter accounts were taken down. There is no tolerance for any viewpoints that contradict the current Marxist propaganda. Even Madonna’s site was taken down when she spoke positively about the drug.

The democrat media monopoly reports positively on anything that is positive for them and suppresses anything that might negatively affect them. They print all scenarios-true or false that would cast negative light on President Trump and his supporters. The United States’ media has taken political sides that has intimidated and restricted freedom of speech.

The elites and the global corporate world have joined together for mutual benefit. The parasitic politicians get campaign donations and high-level positions when they leave government while the global corporations receive contracts and tax breaks. We are witnessing this unholy alliance during Covid-19 when the big corporations are allowed to open as an essential business, but small business competition is forced to remain closed.

The Coronavirus epidemic has exposed politicians at the local, state and federal level to what happens when their power is expanded by a health crisis and they start acting like little Hitlers. Mayors like DeBlasio in NY, Ted Wheeler in Portland, Oregon, start to use their powers without limits to decide to open certain businesses and not others and defund the police departments without legitimate rationale. They allow rioters to continue to remain on the streets while restricting previously appropriate police tactics. Many, like the Mayors in Minneapolis, Seattle and Portland, attempted to appease the rioters even after they were ignored and belittled by them.

One of the most disgusting, un-American uses of power was demonstrated by democrat representatives when questioning the head of the Justice Department, Bill Barr.  Each representative made long, drawn out accusations without allowing Attorney General Barr time to answer them. When he attempted to speak, representatives said, “I am taking back my time.” This was a concerted effort to extinguish his freedom to speak to us, the American citizen.

If we accept this blatant disrespect of our executive branch, we law abiding citizens are tacitly condoning the breakdown of our law and order on the highest level of government. This despicable spectacle of disregarding decorum and decency, if left to stand is another indicator of how far we have fallen from a free, civilized society.

Americans of all stripes have to be aware of these Marxist tactics of denying free speech from anyone who opposes their viewpoints. When open debate is extinguished, freedom of speech is cancelled. This is death by a million cuts of our freedom of speech. Our voices have to be heard so we alert fellow Americans as to what is taking place in our nation.

We The People must stand up openly to counter this overt censorship. This is our duty to preserve our constitutional rights and freedoms.
