CALLING SOMEONE WHITE IS HATE SPEECH

CALLING SOMEONE WHITE IS HATE SPEECH

By Domenick J. Maglio, PhD. Traditional Realist

.

Like most Americans I am flummoxed about who are these “white” people? Most citizens of the United States have arrived from countries all over the world. Most of these people do not identify as white but Spanish, Chinese, Swedish, or something else.  In 1861 the population in America was 31.4 million. Comparatively speaking there were fewer white and black Americans that experienced the Civil War as compared to our present population of 350 million. Immigrants from all over the world flooded Ellis Island to experience the freedom of life in the USA.

Most of these immigrants worked themselves up the socio-economic ladder. Some arrived even before our colonies were formed. Many immigrants from northern Europe came through the process of indentured servitude who had to pay for being sponsored for their trip here. The Irish influx of the 1850s was greeted with ”No Micks Wanted” in store fronts. The over 6 million Italian immigrants, from the 1880s to 1910, were screened and many were rejected due to physical defects, illness and some being considered black. There was no government assistance or housing. Many Italians and other immigrants lived in two room flats with as many as 16 other compatriots. The immigrants continued to arrive from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Virgin Islands and throughout the globe. Most of them arrived with no social or economic power.

Almost all of the immigrants who entered the US knew that they were not elites. Recent immigrants viewed themselves as people from their country of origin. Jamaican-Americans, Polish-Americans and so on were not considered “white”. Some had their ethnic or religious background attached to American such as Jewish-American or Arab-American.

Are all of these elites, white or are there elites from other races? How many years does a family have to be in the United States before they are put in this elite class status? Are all the people who check the box for “white” on the census form automatically privileged?

Government schools are using a semi-circular chart with eight identity choices: 1 white supremacist 2 white voyeurism 3 white privilege 4 white benefit 5 white confessional 6 white critical 7 white traitor 8 white abolitionist. The students are required to choose one of these obnoxious white identities to demonstrate their “supremacy.” Furthermore, the author of this classification chart, Barnor Hesse, stated, “It’s time we built an ethnography of whiteness since white people are the ones writing about and governing Others.” Most whites identify as Americans not white.

In government schools, grandchildren or great grandchildren of white families who came from Europe are being taught that they are white and should feel guilty for what their ancestors did to blacks and other minorities. These “white children” are often from families who suffered from discrimination and poverty themselves but are supposed to be the culprits of exploiting the current identified downtrodden people. Most of them had no family members here before or during the Civil War. Are these citizens perpetrators of discrimination or victims of social class repression?

Slavery was a horrible practice, not only in colonial times but all over the globe. The USA ended slavery a short time after Jamaica freed the slaves in 1833. Many European immigrants themselves were exploited during the Industrial Revolution of the 1800 and 1900s. The ancestors of these abused immigrants often have no knowledge of the hardships they suffered. This summer these innocent youngsters witnessed the tearing down of businesses in their urban centers by many university students, Antifa anarchists and Black Lives Matter groups as payback for all the abuses they received at the hands of these white privileged people. Their ancestors had little power to do this.

In our public schools youngsters of hard-working parents who sacrificed to earn what they have accomplished are being indoctrinated that they are guilty of white supremacy because they are white. Citizens of the United States have the right to know the specifics of what is “white supremacy.” If there is no reasonable explanation of what it means to be white, then we should stop crucifying our children for nothing they or their ancestors have done.

It is not possible to be proud of being white because if you try to be proud of being white you are guilty of white supremacy. This appears to be a strategy that divides and weaken our nation to accept the inherent evil of socialist-communist ideology so let us expose it for what it is. We should no longer allow the false negatives to appear on the news and social media without questioning its accuracy and validity.

US citizens have to stand up to combat the ridiculous labels and fabrications told as truth as it is destroying the moral fiber that unites us all in the greatest free nation of the world. Teaching all whites are guilty of white supremacy in our corporate world through affirmative action training and in our government school classrooms is nothing more than hate speech against whites. It must end.

HATE SPEECH CENSORS OUR SPEECH OF TRUTH TO POWER

HATE SPEECH CENSORS OUR SPEECH OF TRUTH TO POWER

By Domenick J. Maglio Ph.D. Traditional Realist

Remember the child’s ditty, “Sticks and stones will break my bones, but names will never harm me?” The United States has lost the powerful truth of this children’s rhyme. A major cornerstone of all our freedoms is our freedom of speech.

Hate speech is a frontal attack on America’s right to politically question and receive answers to our inquiries for whatever we want to know. Any subject that cannot be examined hides the controversy. Whenever a group or person claims a topic or policy is hate speech, any further discussion is halted.

This negative sensitivity to other people’s speech first became acceptable in our universities. “Safe spaces” were created for disturbed students who could not handle the speech of opposing ideas. This concept that only progressive viewpoints should be presented to students that were already known, accepted and believed is the opposite of expanding one’s thinking process. It is self- indoctrination. These students who require safe spaces were perfectly prepared to readily accept totalitarianism. Throughout our educational system from kindergarten through university, from past and present, historical narratives are being recreated to emphasize only what progressive authority figures want us to believe. Without knowledge of history, literature and social dissenters can there be any in-depth thinking, especially critical thinking?

When “cancel culture” is applied to eliminate anyone who questions and investigates the social and news media progressive politician’s narrative, our ability to determine the truth from lies is diminished. Safe spaces are a way to shield oneself from things that might disturb the person while cancel culture is a means of punishing people with different perspectives from one’s own. Cancel culture nullifies an individual’s right to free speech and everyone else’s right to hear the reasoning and beliefs of the person.

The censoring of any discussion of fraud in the 2020 presidential election felt as if we are in the twilight zone. Our Supreme Court, whose scope is to decide on national presidential elections, would not even discuss the evidence of national presidential voter fraud. Our news and social media’s refusal to investigate any voter fraud allegations and coverage of the quintessential institution of our constitutional republic’s verifiable election results are repugnant. Corruption of elections results is the ultimate destruction of the legitimacy of any republic.

The crucial presidential election irregularities evaporated into thin air. It miraculously became a case of hate speech to bring up any mention of voter fraud. It is amazing how quickly and easily it became socially unacceptable for anyone to raise this issue. The voter fraud issue and the lack of open debate by either party made it appear as if voter corruption was beyond any possibility. It was suggested that the Supreme Court looking into the issue would divide the nation further. Thus, the Supreme Court avoided it so it would not cause turmoil although 50% of the population questioned the results. The same Supreme Court is not ruling on hate speech although in the past the court had ruled that the right to free speech overrode most of the concerns about hate speech.

Our past Supreme Court has ruled that this censoring technique of limiting free speech by stating that it is “hate speech” was illegal. They ruled against banning the wearing of Nazi swastikas, burning crosses and burning the American flag as it was allowable free speech. They declared these acts were covered under the free speech umbrella.

John Stuart Mill, a traditional British liberal philosopher, stated in the mid 1800s that restricting hate speech will mask hatred among groups rather than decrease it. The traditional American liberal remedy for hate speech has always been more speech rather than more regulations. Long before these rulings, our founding fathers recognized this broad concept of free speech even allows hostile debate as necessary for the USA to remain free. This is the realization that closing down debate would be suicide for all of our freedoms under our constitution.

The Critical Race theorists have stated that protecting biased motivated speech, which has no social value, should be illegal. The essential question is who is going to determine what is “biased motivated speech” and what speech has no “social value?” Only the government would decide it and would then control our speech, and thus our freedoms.

We are quickly sinking into the sand of a government control of all speech and determining what is truth, are lies and facts. Along with this hate speech, revisionist history, censorship of literature and through cancel culture we are losing the essence for being proud of the USA for all of our incredible accomplishments and our freedoms.

We must stand up to oppose this very intricate progressive scheme to bring down our constitutional protections, especially to speak truth to power.

UNITED STATES CITIZENS NEED TO FIGHT FOR THEIR ENDOWED RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS

UNITED STATES CITIZENS NEED TO FIGHT FOR THEIR ENDOWED RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS

By Domenick J. Maglio PhD. Traditional Realist

This has been a weird year. The Covid-19 epidemic under the direction of the progressives worldwide has inserted fear into the lives of too many. We have heard from politicians and “scientific experts” that the world-wide epidemic would potentially kill many millions. Currently they placed an ace up their sleeve by introducing the possibility of a “variant strain” of the virus that might call for a greater imposed lockdown.

The CDC head, Dr. Fauci has given advice that is often contradictory. He stated at the beginning that the Chinese virus was not a great threat, then later stated it could be an international catastrophe. Initially he definitively announced that we did not need masks but now says people need to wear two or more masks. His “scientific advice” has been confusing and all over the map. His credibility at times is laughable. He stated, “we will not get back to normal until 2022.”  Many of the other “scientists” also have double-talked in order to keep their predictions from appearing to be unscientific guesses.

In his first major speech since his election, President Biden said that we need to get back to normal although he held out the possibility that the restrictions might have a long shelf life. “Because if we do not stay vigilant and the conditions change, we may have to reinstate restrictions to get back on track, please, we don’t want to do that again.” This is a veiled threat that our government has the right and power to impose dictatorial laws without the consent of the governed. He proceeded to give a list of things to keep us on the right track. His fourth statement on the list is: “In the coming weeks, we will issue further guidance of what you can and can’t do once fully vaccinated to lessen the confusion to keep people safe and encouraging more people to get vaccinated.”

Does this mean everybody will have to be vaccinated before normalcy can be reinstated? Or will everyone who chooses not to get the vaccine be prohibited from working, traveling, eating outside their home that they previously enjoyed?

President Biden did emphasize there would be no graduation ceremonies from high school or college this year. The bone thrown to the American people is that they might be able to celebrate the 4th of July, Independence Day. He spelled it out that it had to be in small groups and not large gatherings. This is absurd since many red states are already open for their citizens to live normal lives and practice the freedom of assembly. It appears he wants to rescind state’s rights and force the federal government to supersede state laws.

The Joe Biden speech has many warnings that if the citizens of America act like good little girls and boys they may receive some crumbs of their past freedoms and rights. If they complain or stand up like the Hong Kong people did against China, they will be forcefully humbled to follow the progressive states’ policies. He sounded more like a “Tin Horn Dictator” rather than the executor of a three-branch constitutional government.

Unbelievably as the progressives obsess about the Chinese virus spreading among Americans not following their “sacred, scientific practices” while they are allowing untold numbers of illegal aliens into our southern border who already have the virus. His immigration policy seems to contradict everything he previously stated to the American public. The obvious violation of the Corona virus protocol appears to be due to two important pieces of their agenda. One to place fear in the minds of the American public to follow their dictates and the other to flood the nation with a substantial voting block that will constantly sweep the progressives into power.

The progressives are telegraphing their hand. They want power for them, not the people, at any cost. If We the People accept their coup of the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights, we deserve to have a totalitarian government in full control. The progressives are confident that the neanderthal, deplorable citizens are so dumb they will not do anything to rise up until it is too late.

We Americans and the freedom loving citizens of the world have too much to lose. We must stand up against these cowardly, progressive charlatans and encourage them to go to the dictatorship of whatever nation they choose before they are charged as traitors.

In order to accomplish this, we must unite, pick a determined leader and demonstrate we have the ability to preserve our nation’s liberty and the courage to carry this out. We muist do this in remembrance of all who have given so much for our future generations’ freedom.

THE OPPOSITE OF HATE SPEECH IS NOT TOLERANCE IT IS FREEDOM OF SPEECH

THE OPPOSITE OF HATE SPEECH IS NOT TOLERANCE IT IS FREEDOM OF SPEECH

BY Domenick J. Maglio PhD., Traditional Realist

Liberals are sophisticated intellectuals who were not supposed to hate anyone. Instead, they are supposed to be tolerant of people who do not think, act or believe like them. In this liberal phase they were champions of free speech. This tolerance phase radically changed as liberals morphed into progressives.

Times have changed. These progressives have become the dominant force in government, education, social/mainstream media, entertainment and all other institutions. They are clearly in charge of the direction of our society over whelming conservative traditionalists at every turn.

As the progressive power has grown, they have steadily become more brazen in demonstrating their true colors. The ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) is no longer pretending to fight for free speech for everyone only for progressive ideals. The ACLU has announced that they are shifting their mission towards advancing ‘Racial Justice’ policies, including reparations. The ACLU has refused to defend the speech of conservatives, which has been openly censored in the news and social media. They have not expressed a critical word about the concept of hate speech and the undisguised censorship of the cancel culture. Their silence during the obvious attack on our Bill of Rights is deafening.

All of the original Ten Amendments are considered by progressives as negative rights as they prohibit the government from making laws that violate these rights. According to the Founders, these rights are endowed by God to ensure the people’s freedom. It is the people’s protection against government tyranny of shutting down the voice of the people.

By the progressives inserting the concept of “hate speech,” the Constitution and our freedom of speech is being violated. Anyone who commits the crime of uttering undefined words or concepts has the possibility of losing their right to speak. The exact moment of crossing into the arena of hate speech is not defined. Any journalist can state that a person committed “hate speech” but because they cannot repeat publicly what they said, no one knows what the other person actually said, but only what someone claimed was hate speech. Unfortunately, the person accused has no recourse but to accept this hideous label and consequences without the ability to speak up. This is un-American.

We have traveled down a dangerous path from the height of crisp and open debate to tolerating hate speech. Our First Amendment is the foundation and spirit of the other Nine Amendments we had bestowed upon us. Censoring another’s speech on any level is against everything that has insured America’s freedom and greatness. The right of freedom of speech is the cornerstone of all U.S. freedoms. Our citizens are supposed to have the right to debate ideas to sharpen their ideas and grasp of issues to make better decisions.

American citizens and people all over the world, have always considered free speech as an integral part of the American experience. We all have said outrageous things to get a laugh or to underscore the absurdity of an opposing point of view. Many comedians have exited their profession because of hate speech. Once we frighten enough citizens through ridicule or canceling their means of survival, we will readily witness the end of all the rest of the Bill of Rights. Our pride will be gone from announcing that we are citizens of the United States.

U.S. citizens need each other to stay free. We are being consciously divided into groups to weaken our confidence and power. Once carved up into opposing camps we are all weakened by our superficial differences and not united by our nation’s great historical accomplishments.

When we all start to understand and love the diversity of our nation we will come together to tolerate and finally learn to respect our different points of view. John Adams and Thomas Jefferson did this in their waning years after years of disagreeing to become an example of what people can do to overcome their differences. Through this process of sharing ideas, we can reignite our love of America’s enthusiasm and vigor as a nation.

The undefined accusations of hate speech is a poison that must be removed from our cultural acceptance and acknowledged as the destructive force that it is. We can no longer be tolerant of progressives attempting to censor free speech. The process of weaponizing speech by renaming it “hate speech” will dead end into a totalitarian state. Without We-The-People uniting and speaking up, our reign as the greatest and most prosperous nation in the history of mankind will come to an abrupt end. Hate speech is just any speech they do not like.

We can only win the civil battle between progressives who want dictatorial power and the traditionalists if we stand firmly behind America’s moral values, especially the freedom of speech.

REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS NEED TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE BY THE PEOPLE

REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS NEED TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE BY THE PEOPLE

By Domenick J. Maglio Ph.D. Traditional Realist

The purpose of government is to create a system that provides the greatest good for the largest number of citizens. In almost every country the government supposedly takes and redistributes wealth for the benefit of the majority. Where there is a small supply of a product or material the government limits who can or cannot purchase it. Citizens’ personal freedom is not on the agenda of governments. It is the citizen’s responsibility to maintain it through knowledge and the vote.

Both stripes, republican or democrat, will promote or restrict certain government institutions to change the direction of the culture and governmentIn certain periods either party will call for an increase or decrease in the military, taxes, healthcare, social and news media’s censorship, patriarchal family, free speech, law enforcement, educational indoctrination, and changes to our three branches of government. All policy decisions affect our culture.

Direct attacks on our culture are constantly occurring under the guise of fighting racism, sexism and intolerance. Citizens are locked down while immigrants are encouraged to illegally enter our borders without any medical tests. Killers and deadly drugs are released onto the streets, and deviant sexual behaviors are now acceptable.

In fascist or communist countries, the government’s power is nearly all encompassing. Even in so-called free-market countries they have limited freedom of choice for their citizens, in religion, education, and even how you are supposed to deal with climate change. Our capitalist economy is being corrupted by globalists selling out our principles and integrity to become an acceptable global entity.

Only in the U.S, with our wise founders who learned from their English oppressors that any nation can lose its freedom if the people do not stay politically aware or have a constitution with specific rights spelled out. These rights protect not one class but all citizens. When the United States Constitution or the Bill of Rights is violated, the People must stand up and rid the corrupt representatives of their power.

These citizens’ responsibility is to be knowledgeable of the voting record of their representatives and understand their true position. As we currently are witnessing, too many citizens are not fulfilling this obligation. Many are voting on the straight party line thinking one party is good and the other is corrupt. The foolishness of this assumption should be self-evident. Politicians of either party can be corrupted by the lure of money and power.

All political beings should be held to their voting record not their promises, deception and practices. There is corruption in both parties although they are stating different viewpoints, ridiculous rationale for their decisions. It is the politicians’ honesty that has to be evaluated and verified against what they have said. Their sacred word and deeds should be the litmus test of voting for extending freedom not their physical attractiveness or eloquent speech.

We the People have everything to lose by the United States Constitution and our Bill of Rights being stripped of protecting our freedom. We are witnessing members of both parties voting for the elimination of the checks and balances with presidential executive orders instead of going through the legislative process. Judges are not ruling on legitimate cases, or are ignoring constitutional law, congress is passing laws that are in direct violation of our constitution and moral values. Our federal government and many state governments are not following the will of the people.

Our Bill of Rights is blatantly being dismantled in front of our eyes. Our churches are restricted and some are even closed, citizens cannot open their businesses, while abortion and transsexuals ruining women’s sports are being mandated by the government. Even while our gun ownership is systematically under attack. Our past presidential election with all the questionable practices: unverifiable mail-in ballots, voting machines without verification and voting ballot tabulation violations are cancelled by the media. This and an avalanche of direct attacks on our Constitution and Bill of Rights are overwhelming our governmental system and our individual freedoms. As a nation we are in a precarious position between becoming a fascist corporate nation or retaining our moral values and freedom.

Patriotic citizens cannot blow off the aggravation of doing their duty of learning what is actually happening in our country. They cannot be ostriches with their heads in the sand. The sacred power of the vote when uninformed will inch us closer to lose our voice in the freest nation in the world. It can and has happened already in many prosperous countries in the world to have all liberties denied.

The citizens’ lack of involvement has been disastrous. Our nation is facing an existential threat of extinguishing our beacon of freedom throughout the world. The world is watching in fear and hope that we will wake up before it is too late.

We should open our eyes and ears and think to understand what is happening. God Bless America.
