CHILDREN SPECTACULARLY LEARN FROM EACH OTHER

CHILDREN SPECTACULARLY LEARN FROM EACH OTHER

By Domenick J. Maglio PhD. Traditional Realist

Today’s children are being deprived of many things. They have plenty of toys, electronics and other devices. If a child asks for the latest fashion, it immediately becomes part of their wardrobe. When a child as young as a preschooler asks to take a karate class, gymnastics, dance, music class or any sport today’s they are immediately signed up for these many different enrichment experiences.

What modern youngsters do not have is time to play unsupervised and uninstructed with peers. They cannot play on their own without adult supervision and instruction due to the parent’s fear. Even recess in public schools is being eliminated for child safety reasons. Children are shielded from their peers. This is stunting their growth in many areas. There are many reasons for this phenomenon.

American families have shrunk in size. “The one and done slogan” of parents has produced many single child families. Couple this with our social mobility that has separated family members: grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins from interacting with each other. It has resulted in a child being isolated from their young relatives. In the past adult family members talked and gossiped while the children played and learned from each other.

When children allowed limited freedom and choice by not being chaperoned by adults, a pecking order is established for different activities, skill areas and natural leadership development. A child who has been taught proper behavior might tell another that he should not act that way or treat another child disrespectfully.  Often a child will role model others who already have learned leadership skills without being conscious of it.  Children learn from each other.

The natural resource of children teaching each other is underutilized in our public schools. Our public schools have become centralized from national and state bureaucratic mandates, which are to be followed by each and every teacher. Teachers common sense has been stifled by the concept that the whole class has to be at a certain point in the curriculum at a certain time. This cookie cutter approach to education does not allow for students to teach and help each other. Instead, often the child is labeled and assigned to a specialist or para-professional to remediate the child’s academic difficulty. The child may improve with an Individual Educational Plan but once the specialist or paraprofessional is reassigned to another child, the student’s confidence and achievement often evaporate. Peer teaching is a cost-effective alternative to hiring specialists and paraprofessionals. There is never enough of these “specialists” because of the enormous cost to the school staffing.

That peer teaching of students helps students has been demonstrated to be very effective in assisting student learning. One-room schools were considered by researchers to be the most cost effective and efficient method of educating children. A teacher of multi aged students in the same classroom would have no option but to use the better students to help others with academic problems. This system also encouraged student leaders to counsel inappropriately acting students.

Maria Montessori, an internationally recognized education authority, incorporated “peer teaching” as an integral part of her world-famous education system. Montessori schools all over the world have had incredible success in motivating academic learning and have used peer teaching as a major component. The peer teacher learns by doing and verbalizing the accurate information while the other student learns the lesson. This learning technique becomes personalized by employing different methods and examples to help the student understand the new concept. The student who needs more practice or conceptual understanding receives it and improves.

Children normally teach each other. Older children are role models to their siblings and friends. Often younger children can assist older children to reach levels they did not think possible. If a child needs assistance, they can overcome their inhibitions and fears. The student can learn to be independently successful. “I can do it myself!” becomes a reality. The power of peer teaching is significant and should not be overlooked.

Children helping other children is as old as human history. Children learn from each other. As a society we should maximize these opportunities. Children need to learn how to interact with other children. These experiences do not have to be orchestrated by adults as they can happen spontaneously. Children have to develop these difficult life skills on their own to gain self- confidence in themselves.

Let us not rob our children of these necessary experiences with other children because of our adult fears. Our children need to believe their loved ones have faith in them to become responsible adults. Let our children be sufficiently free to learn from each other.

TOLERANCE OF “WOKISM” IS BECOMING OUR STATE CULT RELIGION

TOLERANCE OF “WOKISM” IS BECOMING OUR STATE CULT RELIGION

By Domenick J. Maglio, PhD. Traditional Realism

We are being ruled by a cabal of powerful, wealthy and politically connected individuals who believe citizens do not have the right, or the ability to determine government policy. It is silicon valley’s billionaires, news media billionaires, global corporations, woke elites and ultra-leftist politicians who desire total control over the people. They feel the average citizen is a “neanderthal” not worthy of respect or freedom. They distain their traditional thinking and feel they need to be reeducated in public school and universities or indoctrination camps.

Many other key elements of society have joined the woke agenda. They seem to have realized “Better woke than broke.” These institutions that have buckled to this cult include the scientific, religious, medical and military community. The Democrat party, Department of Justice, FBI and most of the bureaucracies including education have adopted wokism. The American people are more than skeptical that wokism is nothing more than a communist tactic to overturn the USA.

When their Marxist policies of previous administrations do not deliver what they were supposed to, they blame the previous administration and anyone else they can. In order to cover for non-productive advice, they resort to lies, lies and more lies. They use the twisted meanings of the words: inclusion, tolerance, racism, infrastructure, illegal immigrants, invasion, allies. They can never admit being wrong because their religious foundation would be shattered. Blaming others is the only way to remain a member in good standing with their cult and overcome their own increasing doubts.

There are angry, brainwashed, social justice communists who proselytize “wokism.” These foot soldiers of Antifa and BLM are using terror as a means to frighten citizens to overturn the capitalist system. They are doing this by creating chaos and destruction to push their radical lawlessness to bring about Marxist change.  Other members are believers of 1619, Equity, Critical Race Theory, White Fragility or any other derivative of Marxist theories. Teachers are insistent that all students, white or people of color, should accept that all issues are caused by “white supremacy” as a fact and preach this to others in order to enter the ranks of the privileged ruling theology. These powerful whites comprehend this is a charade being played to maintain and advance their status.

These woke converts are similar to any new religious fanatics. Their enthusiasm is so intense and their awareness of other people’s beliefs so limited, that they are unable and unwilling to listen to opposing viewpoints. This makes them appear to be obnoxiously ignorant when they attack non-believers. They hide behind science as the means to justify the rigid, radicalism to justify their ideas. Any dissenting from their faith has to be punished since freedom of speech has to be erased for the sake of the woke cult. This intense fervor to eliminate other’s belief system is reminiscent of the Spanish Inquisition, Salem Witch Trials, Nazism and China’s current concentration camps and a host of other historical fanatic religious groups.

Wokism fanatics cannot deal with freedom for non-believers. People who go against the cult are overtly cancelled if they talk about any controversial issues. There is no allowance for discussing voter fraud in the 2020 election although these same activists fought against supposed shenanigans during the 2000 election and almost every election they previously lost. People who are choosing not to take the Covid-19 vaccine for the virus that originated in China are being incentivized to get it and punished if they do not. More and more restrictions are being placed on those who do not have proof of vaccine even if they have had the illness.

The only way to combat this national and world cult is with truth. Confronting their false claims of censorship, their revisionist history and current destructive behavior towards self and others has to be accomplished. Some will come to their senses and will lose their enthusiasm for repressing the truth. Using reeducation camps and annihilation of millions of humans has always resulted in horrific endings. Conforming to an evil system only delays the inevitable fight for freedom. The longer we remain in divisive groups and remain silent, the greater the eventual devastation.

Our forefathers worked and fought too hard to give us this freest, stable and prosperous nation in the world’s history for us to give it away. It would be an unforgivable sin to our ancestors and future generations to hand over the gifts given to our nation to be destroyed by a small group of self-serving looters.

We must awaken, stand up and be heard for the sake of everything the citizens of the United States have created and perfected. The longer tolerance of evil lasts the harder it is to eradicate and conquer.

GOVERNMENT AND CORPORATIONS ARE ABOVE OUR CONSTITUTIONAL LAW

GOVERNMENT AND CORPORATIONS ARE ABOVE OUR CONSTITUTIONAL LAW

By Domenick J. Maglio Ph.D. Traditional Realist

The unholy alliance between our national government and mega international corporations is dismantling our capitalist system and the people’s rights under our constitution. There is no attempt to disguise this relationship and its policies. The progressive media advocates/apologists do their best to ensure the news cycle is always positive even if they have to censor factual information or devise misinformation to cover for the administration. Creative lying to the public has become an artform that even surpasses Hitlerian propaganda.

Mega corporations have joined together with the nation’s highest officials including the president, his cabinet and members of congress in both parties. There has perennially been a revolving door between government and the military-industrial complex. We are currently witnessing many members of the social media who are becoming members of the president’s inner circle after leaving their positions. The campaign contributions from corporations and favorable news coverage are exchanged for political power to crush any political opposition.

The 24-hour news cycle has been a disaster for any legitimate debate and discussion of many radical policy changes taking place at machine gun firing speed. The velocity of changing our economy, culture, public school curriculum, higher education, criminal enforcement, immigration, government payouts and restrictions on the people’s freedoms is nothing more than a government-controlled revolution. The Chinese Cultural Revolution, Argentina, Cuba and Venezuela were communist take overs that also occurred from the top down not from the people up.

The United “States was supposed to be different than other countries since we had a revolution against the most powerful nation at the time, Great Britain. Our wise founders placed checks and balances in our constitution with a definitive Bill of Rights to protect the people’s freedoms. In the past 80 to 100 years the people’s freedoms and power have been chipped away by an ever-increasing, bloated government bureaucracy, which expanded their welfare tentacles while shedding the importance of God, family, responsibility and our Godly endowed rights to free choice.

This period in our history is at a crossroads. Are we going to continue to incentivize open borders, which means the end of the USA as a solvent state? Are we going to pay people not to work, ending capitalism? Are we going to handcuff law enforcement to usher in lawlessness, ending order? Are we going to accept the teacher’s union and public-school board members preventing input from parents concerning what is being taught to their children? Are we going to divide the country into citizens who took the corona vaccine and second-class citizens who did not take it? “The non vaxxers” will be excluded from being able to travel by plane, sitting next to others in entertainment or education venues and entering certain businesses, which is now happening in Israel?

Are our patriotic American citizens going to sit idle and watch our Bill of Rights being discarded one by one? Our freedom of speech has corroded to the point where we have to consider whether a reasonable question is going to be sufficient to be incarcerated. Do law abiding citizens give up their constitutional right to own guns if government officials come to the door and demand them? Can we continue to practice our belief in God and assemble in houses of worship? Will we be permitted to go out in public and participate in sports without a mask that hinders our breathing?

The pathetic reality is we Americans have assumed that elected officials were going to act like saints while we got “fat on the hog.” We did not even begin to do our duty to know our local politicians and to listen to what was happening in Washington D.C. We created a vacuum where government and corporate corruption became normalized. This “pay to play” has been a catastrophe to the small entrepreneur and citizen’s rights and power.

This symbiotic relationship between the federal government and international corporations has decimated the average citizen’s ability to wield power. “The people” have become inconsequential. When the people’s voice is heard, no one listens. The Supreme Court as a whole does not uphold the constitution as written but bows to the current political winds.

Patriotic Americans are being awakened by accurate revelations that finance and moral corruption is commonplace throughout our government, corporations and our news media.

We have too much to lose for the future of all Americans and most importantly for the people of the world who need the USA as a beacon of freedom for the world.

The alternative is a global totalitarian state that will be hell on earth especially for the citizens of the United States.

CRITICAL RACE THEORY IS NONSENSICAL ANGER AGAINST INDIVIDUAL TRIUMPH

CRITICAL RACE THEORY IS NONSENSICAL ANGER AGAINST INDIVIDUAL TRIUMPH

By Domenick J. Maglio PhD. Traditional Realist

Critical Race Theory has been brewing on the back burners of academia and social activist’s minds for over 40 years. It is a total rejection of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr’s teaching that we should not judge a person by the color of their skin but by their character.  Instead, CRT believes color blindness is a form of racism. According to the CRT theory racism is found in every interaction and aspect of life.

CRT does not bring humans together but divides them by their belief system about social groups not the individual’s merit. Upward mobility of a black person in this racist society is downplayed. Advocates of CRT do not spell out what racism is but define it vaguely as anyone who disagrees with them.

People who do not believe that the United States is a wicked and hateful nation are considered “white supremacists.” Anyone who is grateful for their freedom and life in America is a racist. This includes Asians, Hispanics, Arabs, Indians and light skinned blacks who are considered racially privileged for choosing to be assimilated into the US culture.

In the past and present when a black man is highly functioning in American society, he was considered by “racial pimps” to be an “Uncle Tom.” At this point in our history many black women and men have moved up the social ladder to become prominent in government, education, business and politics. Many of these individual’s accomplishments are often ridiculed unless these people are seen as anti-American. The black American success stories cannot be promoted as they shred the CRT insistence that all blacks are treated hatefully and unjustly.

This concept that all blacks are unable to reach the highest level of merit in our capitalist system is ludicrous as blacks make up 13.4% of the population while 30% of blacks are in federal government positions. There are 52 blacks sitting as US House members while six blacks are chairmen of committees and there are 225 black federal judges. Affirmative action programs in corporate businesses are more advantageous to blacks than many racial counterparts. The same phenomenon is taking place in academia where many blacks are moving into positions of power.

This cultural advancement of blacks demonstrates the opposite of systemic racism. It is the systemic outreach for inclusion not exclusion. Yet as this turnabout is taking place, too many people are dismissing these changes as only tokens. Black incomes rose significantly under the Trump administration. Many of the blacks who moved up in income and status are often not celebrated but treated as black traitors.

Blacks have moved into positions of power on police forces throughout the nation as shown on TV during the recent urban unrest. Many black police chiefs have been grossly touted as racist for their stance on law and order. When blacks become an integral part of the society power structure it should be seen as progress, not distorted as a setback.

Many US states such as Florida, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Idaho are banning the CRT curriculum being taught in their schools. They have evaluated and decided that the curriculum of CRT would be discriminatory to all students, teaching falsehoods rather than truth about racial relationships. Many parents are demanding that school systems not be allowed to present this hateful propaganda to their children.

Robin DiAngelo, a white academic and diversity trainer, became a best-selling author of, White Fragility using the same illogic as any CRT political activist. She emphasized that when a white individual denies they are “white supremacist” they are exhibiting “white fragility.” In other words, if you deny you are a racist it confirms you are a racist. This “Catch 22” mentality is a cornerstone of CRT.

All people who reject CRT automatically become racist. Anyone who uses logic, direct historical evidence, science or any other method of reasoning is a racist since it is part of the traditional white culture’s method of arriving at truth. The CRT advocates insist it is the experience of “Black Life” that will put society on the right path for assisting blacks in America. This convoluted theory says that success in school, business or other means of earning merit are worthless for blacks, as they are controlled by white supremacists.

According to CRT, whites should accept “equity.” This means creating the same outcomes for everyone. It can only happen by redistributing wealth and land to blacks to make up for past discrimination.

This CRT world would be an Orwellian one with government controlling every life without anyone being rewarded for their individual achievements. A hopeless world.
