TORTURING WHITES FOR THE EVIL IN AMERICA IS A SMOKESCREEN
By Domenick J. Maglio Ph.D. Traditional Realist
An albino person is born white although most are considered white or black, depending on the parental skin color. In the past a person born to one black and one white parent was called “mulatto” although this term is rarely used any longer as it is a political advantage and “cooler” to be considered black. Race is not a black or white issue, it is grey.
The identification of being white or black is politically arbitrary, not scientifically defined. In the south before the Civil War individuals with 1/8th black blood were considered black. Many individuals with white skin and features “passed for white” although they had more black ancestors than allowed by the 1/8th formula. Few can claim to be 100% of any race as migration has existed from the beginning of time.
When immigrants from other nations arrived in the U.S., they generally defined themselves as Kenyan, Mexican, French or Haitian, not as black or white. Most people are of mixed blood lines. For example, people from the Philippines might be of Spanish or Asian ancestry but often identify as Filipino not as a race. In America, we define people by an imprecise pseudo-science construct like race, while overlooking the unique self-definition.
Anytime we categorically accuse people of any group that they are the cause of evil acts we are scapegoating those members. This has happened throughout history. In the Spanish Inquisition people were executed for not being “Catholic enough”. In the Salem Witch trials, any person who did not conform could be identified by the children as witches and killed. Today whites are being targeted.
Many new sociological concepts are being introduced into our culture to shame whites into taking responsibility for the historical exploitation of blacks. Structural racism, privilege status, white supremacy, diversity training and now Robin Diangelo, Ph.D. has introduced her book, White Fragility. She hypothesized through hostile questions that white discomfort and defensive reactions are indicators of guilt for racism. All whites are systematically evil and must change their entire being. She has asserted a new concept of preaching that whites should change their thinking to be “less white.” If they deny they are racist or accept blame for their past thoughts or feelings, all scenarios make them a racist.
Dr. Diangelo was surprised to find that her white subjects did not view themselves as white but instead as their ethnicity such as Irish-American or Puerto Rican-American even when they appeared to be white. Many families of island nations have siblings of many different physical characteristics and appear different racially.
This irrational rage against all whites for causing social injustice does not make sense. The progressive elites want to transform America into a socialist-communist, top-down dictatorship by reeducating our children in government schools and management in our international corporations through diversity training. The elites are punishing all non-progressive whites into being apologetic people to accept the guilt of being racist. Other resistant patriotic whites who refuse to take the blame for prospering by the sweat of their efforts and innovations are ridiculed as racist. This tactic of divide and conquer has traditional whites on one side and progressive, converted whites on the other side.
Today some pseudo scientists, sociologists, psychologists, legal experts and politicians have targeted whites (supposedly a definable race) as the individuals that have used systematic racism against blacks and indigenous natives in establishing this country. Every non-black group that arrived after the founding of our country is somehow also included and guilty for the evil treatment of these two racial groups: blacks and Indians, although these individuals were not even here yet.
The racist issue between so called black and white is more complicated than simply a spectrum of the shade of one’s skin color on a chart. The issue of racism has many nuances (variables) that impact the person’s attitude and assessments toward racial groups.
Placing the blame on all whites may be good politics for one political party but it is horrendous for America. A divided nation is a weak nation. Our nation is not structurally racist. The melting pot is still producing a wonderful soup that is nurturing for all Americans regardless of their previous nationality or skin shade. Everyone has the freedom to contribute and elevate themselves economically and socially. Martin Luther King Jr. wanted all Americans to be color blind and to advance by merit rather than the color of their skin.
A meritocracy ends the nonsense of structural racism and equity returning to our patriotism to our constitution and free market economy.
